Founder: Achiamah Osei-Tutu MD FAAD
is a New York- based board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of Docs4Hair. Her practice focuses on providing a comprehensive approach to hair restoration.
Dr. Osei-Tutu graduated Binghamton University with a B.S. in biology. She subsequently entered medical school at Stony Brook University. While at Stony Brook, she received a scholarship for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute/ National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Scholars Program. After graduating from medical school she completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital. She subsequently went on to complete a residency in dermatology at SUNY Downstate, where she was selected chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Osei-Tutu's initial interest in hair loss stemmed from her quest to manage her sister's alopecia successfully. She continues to be motivated by the many patients who entrust her with their care.
Founder: Nanna OseiTutu-Ebanks MD
is a New York-based, board-certified family physician and co-founder of Docs4Hair.
Dr. OseiTutu-Ebanks graduated CUNY Brooklyn College with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation, she pursued a career in clinical research in women’s health. She subsequently went on to graduate from Ross University School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in family medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she was selected as chief resident in her final year.
She currently practices in Queens, NY, offering comprehensive medical care for entire families.
Over the last 15 years, Dr. OseiTutu-Ebanks has suffered from hair loss. She is personally invested in educating and empowering others on how to prevent and manage scalp and hair loss conditions.
Founder: Maame Darko BA
received her BA from Binghamton University and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration at Molloy College. She has worked in Healthcare for over 15 years and is now working in Healthcare Management at a New York-based hospital. She is also a co-founder of Docs4Hair.
Her interest in hair care began when she was a child. Over the past few years, this interest has strengthened with a desire to share healthy hair care practice with those around her. She is committed to providing hair loss sufferers with the tools necessary to receive professional hair care advice.
Intern: Kayla Bedeau BS
received her BS from Howard University with a major in Sports Medicine and minor in Chemistry. She aspires to attend medical school in the future.
From a young age, she has been passionate about natural hair care. Over the years, her interest heightened when people close to her started to experience hair loss. She noticed that their self-confidence reduced over time. She hopes to help others find a health care professional that suits their hair needs so that their self-esteem can be restored.
